Dave Norton Memorabilia Project

In a January 2013 post, we updated volunteer restoration efforts of the "Gas-Hopper" hydroplane race boat.  A boat owned and raced by our boatshop hero, the late Dave Norton.  The restoration activities remain an ongoing volunteer project.

Now from the boxes, dust, and years of storage, Grade 12 student, Dana, brought out the trophies, plaques, pictures and other Dave Norton memorabilia for clean up, polishing, and the odd minor repair.  Her volunteer project - complete the Dave Norton heritage display in our booth located in the Beaumont Mill.  Dana's volunteer hours are credited to the high school community hours required (40) to graduate this June.

The Dave Norton memorabilia display is complete and looks fantastic!
